Cornell’s AAEP Student Chapter would like to officially invite you to AAEP x AABP x AASRP x SCACVIM’s Mental Health Event on March 7th at 5 pm in Lecture Hall 4 in the veterinary college. We are coming together to discuss mental health within the veterinary community, emphasizing large animal veterinarians in rural areas. This event is being put together in honor of Dr. Casey Gruber, a rural mixed-animal veterinarian, owner of Red Lodge Veterinary Clinic, and mentor to many, who died by suicide last fall.
NY FarmNet will give a Talks Saves Lives presentation, which will provide up-to-date data on suicide as well as tools to keep yourself and others safe. This will be followed by opportunities to remember Dr. Gruber, together. A Zoom link provided for those who are unable to make it in person but still want to attend. Please email Kerstyn at kec243@cornell.edu if you are unable to join us but would like to share words of support.
